Jack White on the great American spectator.

Thought Jack drew some interesting parallels to the American worship scene.  Take a look and let me know what you think.  I jotted down some of his ideas below.

I never have a set list, I want every show to be different, want something to happen.

Sometimes we ramble about problems that aren't really there just to have something to overcome.

Americans no longer seem to come with an energy to put forth, but have taken to spectating.

We're spoiled to the point of approaching shows like going to the movies to be entertained.

That all the work is the job of the performer.

I think music should be a sharing experience.
